The PF03NV drivers all feature a space-efficient ,square chassis profile allowing them to be positioned more closely to each other for improved coupling, and are particularly suited to ues in arrays where controlled wavefront (beam steering) is used. the transducer uses high enery neodymium magnetic to achieve a very high acoustic output to weight ratio.
CFS PF03NV drivers are optimized using FEA to give a rising HF response. This results in a noticeably wider dispersion characteristic to higher frequencies than conventional speakers of this size. Chassis are purpose designed for maximum free air movement, while stiff and treated paper cones remain rigid to higher frequencies, delivering a smoother response in the critical listening band.
Half roll polycotton surrounds enable greater excursion and lower responance frequeancy for small diameter cones. they also provide damping of unwanted resonances and sustained centring control at exatremes of excursion.
The PF03NV employs a large 1”(25.9mm)diameter voice coil that Provides an AES rated 35 watts of continuous power handing and a full 70 watts of peak power handing, the PF03NV utilizes CFS under damper venting technology to reduce turbulent airflow near the voice coil that provides good conversion efficiency and high thermal power handing.
